Meet Elizabeth--My "New Baby"

Monday I took the day off of work so my friend Kathleen and I could go down to this "adoption" center and pick up my new baby. The name of the agency is Berkley Vacuum Center.
The entrance to the "agency".
Me and the "adoption" agency owner finalizing the "adoption"
All the "adoptees were lined up in the window and this one stole my heart. When I first saw her I knew that she was the one.

I am so looking forward to all the mother/daughter activities that we will be able to do together.

I can totally see you being a seamstress. Good for you!

I'm jealous. I've been sewing with a dinky little thing for a couple years now and it finally got jammed to the point where my tweaking isn't working. It's time for me to invest in a beauty like yours! Did I mention that I'm jealous???

Sew perfect! I'm sure the two of you are a perfect fit!

You'll be hemming and hawing around in no time!

*snort* Okay... I'm done with the corny jokes. No doubt I'm the only one in stitches....haaaaa....okay. No really. I'm done.

Love it! I love stitching and sewing when I have the time. This would make me happy too!

How wonderful that Elizabeth is in your life now! I can't wait to see what you create together. I am hoping to try my hand at sewing this year. I must make an adoption of my own first. :)
