Yes, folks, this is me when I was in high school. I used to be rather "well endowed" until Feb. of 1978. I had a breast reduction. It was the best thing that I ever did in my life. I would do it again in a heart beat. Big breast are not all what they are cracked up to be. I do miss that top though. I liked it but I probably shouldn't have worn those horizontal stripes.

I had no idea that those procedures were that well known in the 70's!!! If that is one thing I could do right now, I would do the same thing! I agree...it's not at all what it's cracked up to be! I can't believe people actually pay for them!
I'm hoping that whenever my daughter quits having babies that she'll have it done. She's a 34-G and her back and shoulders are constantly hurting her. I'm sure toting two small children around don't help her any. I'm like Alicia. I didn't know they even did it back then. I don't even like what I have and have often wondered why anyone would want themn bigger.
Great picture, Karen.
I never knew this. Well good for you! I have another friend who had this done years ago too, and she was so happy.
I never wore stripes that way, and I still don't. Have a great weekend, and I follow you.
I don't know what you've been testing, but this is the same screen I got with your regular button.
I had a girlfriend in college who was even more well endowed than you were. I remember when she got her breast reduction. It seriously changed her life, and she loved it.
=)
I always find that interesting. My husband has always said that you don't need more then a handful! I know several people that had it done because of the backaches they would get. Love the photo!
It's not easy as a woman...and I think lots of women have problems like this - so thanks for being so honest!
Have a great weekend!

Wow!
My mom (God rest her soul) -- was a small person with large breasts and she always talked of getting a reduction, but never did.
She did not pass on her ample bosom to me. LOL Hers remained "perky" despite their size until she died, while my average sized breasts have sagged since I was a teenager. :(
Hm...the majority of your commenters here seem to be or had been "well-endowed"! I on the other hand, had always entertained the thought of adding to"., just a wee bit more...but since I am a wimp to pain ( I can't even pop a pimple!), I never did. I can understand what a relief from back pain, etc...
If only it were possible to move some tissues from my hips to there!
Blessings & Aloha!
Believe me; I understand. Since the seventh grade I've been teased about mine. I gained some weight recently and that's the first place I get bigger. My neck aches at times from the bra. Maybe one day I'll get a reduction. I've heard of others who were also pleased with the results.
Good for you! On the stripes, I hear they make a chest look flatter so maybe they were OK.
Now that took guts! I love you and those horrible glasses. I had a pair too! Weren't they awful. See you're looking much better these days. This why I love following all different types of blogs. Sometime you run into your other self. Smiles

LOL...love it! Yes, the horizontal makes you look even more well endowed, lol! This is a keeper!!
In 1978, I would have gladly taken on some of what you discarded. I like that shirt too, I had many that were quite similar!
Love your comment on comments, I don't get high, but I love them too. I mean, don't we do all this to start a conversation?
Visiting from Never Growing Old. Hope to be by again!
