Friday Photo Flashback--Nannie

Here are two pictures of my grandmother, Iona Carlston Wells. If still alive, she would have turned 101 on August 25th. This is one of my favorite pictures of her. Not sure when this was taken or why. My mom thinks it might have been taken in the 30's.
This is mostly how I remember her looking. This was taken in 1989 at my mother's home. She is holding my son, Daniel, when he was just a few weeks old.

Reminds me of my grandma!
Happy Birthday to her...bet she's smiling at you wherever she is.
You know, an interesting thing I find about these two photos is that her eyes didn't change one bit.

Just here from Java's follow friday...I'm glad I came.

Love your photos. I have a similar photo of my great grandmother with me and my cousins - even with the crocheted blanket on the back of the couch!

So is this your Mom's mom? I think I remember being in that home. Your mom use to give me shots when I was pregnant with Tyler in 1985.

I'm here from Lady Blogger's Social Tea Party...

I love the idea of writing posts based on old photos - I didn't know it was a meme! I try to write posts once in awhile that include old photos.

I loved the pictures of your Nannie. They made me think of my Gram, whose birthday is coming up this week.

Grandmother's are so special! I love how the old pictures and the old stories show the vibrant spirit within - like they did with my grandmother! I miss mine, too! She made me feel beautiful on the inside!

Хочу пепельный цвет волос, но жечь их перекисью не хочу категорически, свой цвет темно-русый, даже каштановый, можно ли цветным ламинированием добиться пепельного из моего или же сие невполне вероятно? Подскажите пожалуйста.
