The about picture is a "normal" X chromosome. The one below is not "normal" My x chromosome and my son's X chromosome looks like this. This little abnormality has really caused a lot of problems but has also brought joy and great learning to me.
Anyway, here's to the x Chromosome that has changed my life.

Great 'X' post Karen...teaching special ed. I have had many children who've had various 'x' syndormes, fragile X being one of them.
Isn't our make up down to microscopic events just wondrous? I think we are amazing creatures indeed!
Your take on life never ceases to amaze me. You look for the blessings in challenges and you find them.
I never realized that "fragile X" was quite such a literal name.

I had never heard of Fragile X until I "met" you. Speaking of having "met" you.....I'm so happy that I did. :)
