This is an excerpt from a wedding card that my SIL gave to me 28 years ago. "The best advice I got came from a five year old at my shower. She said, "Be nice." I testify that it works wonders."
My dad taught me to be nice. Today would have been his 82nd birthday. He passed away in 1985 of bladder cancer.

A little niceness goes a long way to making your way easier.
Sorry that you lost your father to cancer. Hugs Nice is a great word. Good advice from you dad also.
Visiting you during the #Challenge. Love finding new blogs. As a writer, however, I have to be careful about using the word NICE in my novels.I found that I had overused the word, not good. I had to look for other words that perhaps said more. Aside from my writing, I agree that being nice is important. May I suggest another great word and attribute....KIND.
Being just plain NICE has almost become a lost art. When someone is nice to me these days, I almost fall over in surprise!
Oh, yes, this is true. I need to be nice especially within my own home where it is the most challenging. *sigh*

So sorry about your loss of your father to cancer.
We need more people to be nice. I sometimes need to work on being more nice in certain situations. I love the quotes.
