Not sure where this was taken but it was taken in Dec. of 1960. This is me and my big brother, David, decorating a Christmas tree. Well, I am just observing. I wasn't decorating the tree then and I still don't do that now. I always let my mother do it and now I let my husband decorate the tree. I do decorate the house, however.

That's a precious picture. I can't get myself inspired to do our tree this year. I guess I'm a little off schedule since I missed a Thanksgiving while in Belize. It just doesn't seem like it's time.
Weezer
Awww Isn't wonderful looking back at old pictures, and see you haven't really changed all that much have you? ~hehe~ Already following. Thanks for sharing.
How sweet!
What a precious photo! If I left the tree decorating to David, we would never have one. :0)
I just love these nostalgic photos!
=)
So sweet! Have a nice weekend.
What a sweet picture! Little did your brother know that he started a tradition with you!! :)
Such a precious picture from the past. Your hat looks a little small for you though. I wonder if your mom loved it so much that she just kept putting it on you. I was already in kindergarten in 1960.
Well, you may have had some trouble with your blog format earlier today, but it sure looks great now!
=)
I am pretty sure that is the last tree that Dave decorated - or at least that he has proof of. For 25 years he has brought the tree in the house and left it to me, lights and all. But I must say, he is the most patient man in the tree lot! I tend to care alot about which tree we pick.
