Several year ago my mother told me a story about her that I never knew. She told me that ever since she had gotten married she had a jar of Ponds Cold Cream in her medicine cabinet to remind her to be a kind person. She said she did this because of her grandmother(picture above). Nana always used Ponds Cold Cream and my mother loved her very much. Nana was always very kind to my mother and others whom she came in contact with.
This week we are celebrating Martin Luther King Day. Several years ago I gave my students an assignment to write a story about him. This is what one girl wrote. I thought it was so sweet I kept it. From what I have learned about Dr. King, all he was trying to do was to teach people how to be nice to each other.

My mama is 82 and she has always used Ponds cold cream. It's in her bathroom shelf now. It's a great product.
I loved the story about the pounds cold cream, my Grandmother always used it and I have been for the last few years. What a treasure to have the jar!
