What Is Love?

Over the years men and women have asked this question over and over. Many talks given and books written on the subject. There are as many different answers as there are people. Here are a few answers that I have found.
In the 1968 movie Yours Mine and Ours, Henry Fonda explains it beautifully to his daughter as he is taking her mother to the car to go to the hospital. I love this explanation. I couldn't embed the video, but here is the link to it. http://youtu.be/gVg55U7Ux84
To me this picture above is what love is. Every morning Tom makes fruit smoothies for us. Sometimes he is up before me and he will put mine in the refrigerator. He went the extra mile and put a straw in it for me because he knows I love to drink them with a straw. This always touches my heart.

That is what I think love is. What do you think it is?

Love is when you get a 10 minute back scratch that you didn't ask for. (hint, hint).

I think you and Uncle Tom definitely know a thing or two about love. ♥♥

The movie clip is great...Henry Fonda put it right! My sister had 8 kids, remarried a man with 10 kids and then they had a baby of their own! Love comes with maturity and experiences!

For me, love is having a husband that married a young energetic girl and ending up with an old wheelchair bound woman that he loves even more!

I've always loved that movie so it was fun to see that clip again.

I think you should film Tom making you a smoothie some morning.

What a beautiful story! Some people make love out to be more complicated than it really is and they fight it... Just let yourself love and be loved. Life is happier that way... and you get a smoothie every morning out of the deal :P
