Blank Is My Signature Blank

This is something that has been bothering me for a while. That is knowing what my "signature" is.
Frank has My Way.
Tony has I Left My Heart In San Francisco.

Shelby has the color pink.

I knew I was doomed to answer this question when I opened my Dove candy wrapper today and it said to find my passion. Well, I would if I knew where to look or what is was. Does anybody have any ideas? What is your signature? What are your passions? Does one need one? Does one need an inanimate object to represent them or is who they are on the inside enough? Is this too deep?

I do not know of any one thing that would be my signature. but I am made up of so many more little things. Perhaps my signature could just be as simple as my family. I want to be remembered in them.

Tangible 'signatures' are cute, clever and sometimes even interesting.

But I think we each have a signature that we rarely consider: the intangible something we leave behind, in our wake.

And I'm thinking in terms of after we have a conversation with someone; after they read a letter or email from us; after we leave someone's home; after we leave the room.....and, yes, after we leave this life for the next.

I don't think I have a signature. I am passionate about many things and I think that my passion for those things plays into who I am...or maybe who I am plays into what I'm passionate about. Either way, I am satisfied with who I am and where I am in life and that's enough for me. Very thought provoking post, Karen! Thanks! :)

An interesting notion, Karen.

I'll have to think on it!

Those are touch questions! I don't think we need one. I think I change mine all the time!

I know I don't really have a signature because I am forever changing. What I was passionate about or 'madly in love with' 20 years ago or 10 years ago or even 5 years ago may not be what I am still passionate about today. Sometimes, I wonder if people that get labeled with a signature have a hard time with that too? Do they feel a pigeon holed?
Great post!

A signature ... hmmm. That's a good question! I think we all have one, but perhaps it's not what WE think it is. How will people remember you? What do people think of instinctively when they think of you? I think of your faith and your generous heart - I'd say those are your signatures ... :)

What a great question! I'm not sure what my signature is but I would definitely have to say that my passion is most certainly my family. Raising kids who love the Lord is an overwhelming and constant task in my life. I feel like it's my most important work, what I'm here to do. But I fall short every single day. Every single hour! So thankful for God's grace and very thankful for other bloggers to learn from. Thank you for this deep question! I love it :)

XOXO,
Angie
