Odd Question?

Sometimes my mind wanders and I start thinking of  odd, strange, interesting things.  One day while wandering, I entertained this question.  Are men luckier or have it easier than women?  I think they do. I would like to state my case below.

Hair--  Men basically have one style of hair.  If their hair falls out, it is okay and expected.
A woman on the other hand, can choose between an unlimited amount of hair styles from short to
long.  Then there is the question of what color it should be or if you should wear anything in your
             hair.

Make-Up--  Men do not have to worry about this unless they are on TV.  Then someone does it for them.
Women are always faced with the question of how much to wear for each occasion, what
type and does my eye shadow and lipstick match my outfit?

Clothes--Men have a basic uniform.  Shirt and pants.  Now women have pants, many types, dresses, skirts,
blouses, t-shirts.  The list goes on.   It is hard deciding everyday what to wear.

I could go on but I will stop here.  There are far more categories to explore.  If I went to them all, we would be here all night.

What are  your thoughts on this matter?  Why do men seemingly have it so much easier and simpler than woman?

Perhaps this cartoon can explain it???

But all in all, I agree with this song.  Being a woman is great.

On the other hand, Men are the protectors, and I would not want to do that.

Men have it easier in our culture but if they protect and serve as they are called to do, they'd have it harder.

Thanks for the Doris Day film. Loved it. Men make it hard on themselves, taking the weight of the world on their shoulders.

I sometimes think that all men should be given a handicapped placard for their cars...based on gender. :-) Okay, I've said the words too.

Men do some things well, but women have a greater range, a much greater range, of innate tools that they use well. Based on that alone, women have more skill maneuvering through life.

Easier? Life, by definition, is not easy. If it were, none of us would learn anything of value.

I enjoy being a girl too.

I realized how easy boys have it when I was a teenager and went camping with my brother and his buddies. Boys have it so easy when it comes to bathroom duties in the wild!

Also, as men age, they become more "distinguished." Women just seem to get old : (

Cute post!

I like being a woman, though I agree that there are a few downsides. However, I have leveled the playing field!

I don't wear makeup! And I refuse to spend more than five minutes on my hair.
