This Kind Of Stuff Makes It All Worth While

This was a note that I received from one of my parents on the last day of school.  This really touched my heart.   It really made all that has happened this year  worth it.  (There was a lot of tension on campus because of the principal. ) It was so nice to get this because as a teacher, I often worry if I am making a difference or not.

What a truly priceless gift! To know that you've made such a difference, that you're valued, and that decades from now this child will remember you so keenly as someone who made an enormous impact ... wow!

If they took the time to do that, you know it was absolutely heartfelt. That is so wonderful!

Oh Karen, I totally understand. It's so nice to be appreciated for all the hard work you do each year. It is very awesome to pour so much out and have it appreciated like that.

Blessings and love,
Debbie

This is wonderful and so well deserved, no doubt. It's so nice when someone takes the time to tell you so. I'm sure many parents have written that note to you in their heads.

I wish more people wrote notes to teachers. I know my sister treasures every one of hers. She says it makes up for how little she gets paid!
