I have also taken on the task of deep cleaning every room in the house. I am almost done except the worst rooms are remaining. The kitchen, family room and master bedroom. HELP. But the house is really looking nice.
We have also had some visitors. My mom and my niece McKenzie came down for a couple of days. They really helped me get my office put together. That is really what I have been holding out on. It is not quite ready for its debut. I can't wait to show it to you.
Last but not least, I have been going to lunch and some shopping with friends.
All in all I am having a good vacation.

Deep cleaning sounds like a great thing to do. I did knock down cob webs the other day. Does that count as deep cleaning??? :-)
My grandson stays with me during the summer, so I have been to the creek many times, VBS, skateboard park, City Pool, pool out back, working at church and am chained to this computer too many hours a day.
I absolutely love spending time with my grandson. We play hard Because it won;t be long until he won't want to hang out with me. I want him to think back and cherish the time we spent together.

Today is Dave's first day home post-retirement, so it seems like a vacation. I wonder how long that feeling will last?!
