Guess I Should Blog Something

Sometimes I am just void of ideas or excitement.  My life is like a documentary at 4 in the morning.  LOL.

I haven't been up to much today.  The most productive thing I have done today is take a bath.  But you know, some days you just got a do it.  It has been nice because Tom has been home all day.

I am excited for Thanksgiving to come, I think.  We are having it here this year.  This is only the 2nd time since we have been married that we have had Thanksgiving here.  I am looking forward to it even though I am apprehensive.  It is hard to compete with Mom.

Work is going a lot better this year.  I have 23 kids instead of 28 like last year.  There are only 2 that are challenging. (I didn't say that)  I found out that I might be getting a new girl on Monday.  She is from another 1st grade class in the school.  I heard she is very smart.  YEAH.

What is everyone giving for Christmas?  I need some ideas.  I want to be thoughtful yet clever in my gift giving.  I have mostly adults that I will be buying for.  Are gift cards too tacky?

Anyway, that is about all the excitement from here.  We are doing pretty  good and haven't been blown away yet.  (It has been pretty windy here)

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving too. Hope everything is perfect for you. Getting it all hot and out at the same time is always the challenge for me!

I now send gift cards to everyone out of town. Other then our immediately family everyone is out of town. I use to buy, wrap and ship and I'm over that now!!! I love getting gift cards. What I do is ask everyone where they want one to. Otherwise there are a lot of great gifts ideas on Pinterest if you don't want to spend too much.

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Happy, blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family! As our family grows with new daughter in law and the logistics of where some live out of state, it is a fun time, whenever we are able to get together…Last year we had thanksgiving early at one daughter's home and all of us girls pitched in with making different dishes :o) I sure miss my mom and her amazing meals!

Gift cards are so much easier to give to all the relatives, especially my hubby's in Hawaii. But throughout the year, I do like to make and find things for gifts and set them aside. I like to receive gift cards too.

Blessings & Aloha!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Karen. I am not cooking this year, and I'm glad. But it's definitely fun to do once in a while. Hope it all goes great!
