Feeling Ever So Grateful

Last night, a little after 3AM, we awoke to a lot of shaking, rolling and noise.  We were having an earthquake.  We didn't think it would stop.  We got up to survey the damage and found things that had fallen over but nothing was ruined.  It made me stop and be grateful for what we have.  Our house withstood the quake and we were okay.  So glad that people have knowledge about how to build things to with stand it. This is just hard to explain but I am really grateful.  (we weren't very far from the epicenter.)

I was wondering about you when I heard the news so it's good to know all is well.

Happy to hear that all is well at your place. We didn't feel a thing here in Southern California.

WOW! That's one thing I don't miss about California. Great job on your weight loss! Have a wonderful year teaching first grade! Mimi

Glad all is well with you! My son felt it pretty strongly in SF, too.

It was felt in San Jose, but not that much. Woke a few of us up, though.

=)
