A To Z Blogging Challenge Respect

Respect means to have honor; esteem; consideration; regard for someone.  I feel the world is in need of these feelings towards others. One of our rules at school is to be respectful.

AND of course you cant read about Respect without Aretha Franklin singing it in your head!! LOL
Respect is something we don't see enough of. I sound like an old fuddy-duddy by saying this but the last few generations are not being taught to be respectful like in my day. Its appalling to see how some of these young people out of college treat their older colleagues in the work place. I better stop before my blog pressure raises. I'm back to singing Aretha! Have a great day.

The word and what it stands for are sorely neglected sometimes. Respect for property, for other's feelings, for self should be constantly in place.

What goes hand in hand with respect is humility. There are many times when I close my eyes and keep my mouth closed and think, "It is Christlike to not say something about that right now." That is respecting the person as well as myself! Whew!

But there are time when I fail to be that and I peep and it gets worse. x(

Respect is something that seems to be fading away and that upsets me!
