A Non Christmas Post--Oh My

Even though this isn't about Christmas, it was like a Christmas present to me. My mom and my niece McKenzie came to visit me and McKenzie wanted to help me clean out my closet. I was excited. It was tough going at times. (Did you ever work with a dramatic, strong willed 11 year old) But, we /I survived and the results were wonderful.
Here are all the shoes I am giving away. I could open my own store.
Here is McKenzie buried in a pile of the clothes I am giving away. However I put that flowered sweater back in the closet.
Here are all the clothes bagged up and ready to get picked up when the people come around to pick things up. We get things in the mail from time to time saying they need things. It is great because they just come to your house and get it.
Here are all the empty hangers. Woo Hoo.

Here is my closet after the fact. Now there is a lot more breathing room. Shopping anyone? Ha Ha.

Oh, it's torture going through all the stuff -- remembering when something was worn or given, wishing we could still fit into it, wondering why we ever bought it in the first place! But what a sense of accomplishment when it's done, and how wonderful that others benefit from the bounty! Your closet looks amazing ... :)
