I Ended Up Going In A Totally Different Direction

I was sitting around today feeling like I have been in a "fog" lately. So, I was going to write about that. I was going to use the Wil Rogers quote that says,"Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."
I was going to say how I needed to get up and do something different. How I needed to change things, add some excitement etc. Then...................................................
I went and took a bath.(no that is not me) I also ate popcorn while there. I didn't read. While there, the thought came to me that I should do another "Thank You Note to God". So, I decided to do that instead.
Dear Heavenly Father, I really don't know where to begin. There are so many things to thank you for. It is hard to put into words what I want to say. There are probably things I should thank you for that I don't know or understand about. Sorry to do a global thank you but, thank you so much for everything. I really mean that.

I do however want to thank you for all the wonderful people you have put in my life. I have been VERY blessed to have good family, friends and co workers. I have not really known anyone who has tried to pull me down-except for me. Sorry about that. I am so thankful for every person I know. They are all fabulous in some way to me. They have helped me and taught me. I am blessed. I never thought I would say that the song from Barbara Streisand was meaningful to me. I used to think "People Who Need People" was a dumb song. (Well, I was a teenager then) As I have grown up, I don't think that any more.

Thank you for all this insight. I just hope I can be the kind of person to these people as they have been to me.

What a wonderful idea. God loves when we thank Him for all the blessings He gives to us.

It's such a comfort to know that we can always talk to the Lord when we're feeling down. And the best part is that He already knows, and through His word, He encourages us!!

It really is all about gratitude isn't it. You did a great job expressing it.
