It's The Simple Things In Life That Makes Us Happy

This is a thank-you note that we received from my mom yesterday. It was so nice to get it. Just put a smile on my face. We were so glad that we could bring some joy to her. She is always bringing joy to others before herself. (Just a note-we did not give her the TV on our own. It was my SIL idea and we just gave her some money for it) It was so cool to see Mom open it. She actually cried. I love that.

I enjoyed reading that letter from your Mom. I really love her. For as long as I've known her, she continually reaches out to others and their needs.

What a cute note...I love the way people from our moms' generation always wrote letters. I wish we would not lose that!

Oh the sweet joys of the simple things! So true! The beautiful thing is, once I opened my eyes to see and cherish the simple things, the more I recognized that I am surrounded by them. :) Some of my most prized possessions are the notes and letters written by my mother and my husband when we were dating.

What a sweet letter . . . you can hear how much she appreciates you. And having something like this in her handwriting is so special, you will always have this remembrance of how happy she was this Holiday. LOVE IT! (Thanks for sharing it) What a wonderful daughter you are!
