Family--My family is well which I am grateful for. We got a new addition in September. My niece, Ashley, had a baby boy named Benjamin. He is so adorable. My (step) son Tony had a bad accident on his mountain bike. He had surgery and he is doing very well now.
The Gathering-- I have a great group of really good girlfriends. We get together about once a month at someones house and sit around and talk. Monday everyone came over to my house. We had a great visit. We had See's candy and Shirley Temples. We also had potato salad, chips and dip and cheese and crackers. Can't wait to do it again.
We have been getting some much needed rain which is good. We need it out here in California. The only bad thing is that the kids can't go out for recess. LOL

Being a teacher is so rewarding but it also tugs on your heart. Thank you for being a great teacher children need that in their young lives!
My girlfriend's daughter teaches 1st grade and she always has a story to tell! Sometimes sweet and sometimes sad. I also have a dear group of friends, most of us have known each other for 30+ years, we meet for lunch once a week. It's such a great time and I always look forward to it!
Our daughter is a teacher and taught in public schools for several years. Now, she's home schooling our grand-kiddos. Teaching is a calling, not just a "job". Sounds like things are going well in your life...that's great. So glad to hear about the healing from the accident...that's so scary. Happy Thursday, sweet Lady.
Congrats on adding Benjamin to the family! What fun that must be, getting together every month with girlfriends. I'd love that and should try to do it more often. Twins keep me busy...

Oh my, your first paragraph.....those poor children, their poor hearts. Happy to hear that your family is well and welcome to the world Benjamin! Sorry about Tony but glad he is doing well. Sounds like a nice gathering. I got a box of See's Nuts and Chews for Christmas. Haven't opened it yet!!!
